In the wake of Hurricane Sandy's devastation, the importance of community is resonant. The Ellison Ballet Foundation, Inc. presents two performances in honor of the Dresch and Cericola families who endure great tragedy from the storm. Students of the Ellison Ballet - Professional Training Program will be joined by guest artists from the New York City dance community to share the beauty and fantasy of dance. The list of guest artists continues to grow, and includes the following:

New York City Ballet - Gonzalo Garcia
Dance Theatre of Harlem - Michaela DePrince
The Juilliard School
Steps Repertory Ensemble
Manhattan Youth Ballet
Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet
Aran Bell - 14-year old winner of multiple international ballet competitions

*More guest artists to be announced.

A silent auction will be held throughout the evening as well. We invite you to help us provide relief for our local communities by joining us in a night dedicated to helping humanity overcome these tragedies with compassion, humility, and generosity.

All proceeds and donations will go directly to helping families affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The Ellison Ballet Foundation, Inc. will present the students of the award-winning Ellison Ballet - Professional Training Program, performing works from some of the most revered ballets of the romantic and classical periods.

The program includes excerpts from such timeless masterpieces as Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot’s Giselle and Marius Petipa’s La Bayadère, staged by Edward Ellison and Erin Forrest, as well as Le Conservatoire by August Bournonville, staged by Karina Elver, formerly of the Royal Danish Ballet.
